Just 10 years ago, it was only 4 years, today battery chemistries that are available in the markets today have a battery life of more than 25,000 cycles. If you state that you will charge a tractor charge and discharge a tractor once every day of the year, the expected life is over 50 years.
These batteries do cost more and the total increase in weight is an additional 15 to 20%. At the same time, battery prices last year were $125 per kilowatt hour, now they are as low as $60 a kilowatt hour or agricultural, commercial, or residential needs, they significantly reduce carbon footprints and energy expenses.

20-YEAR COST ANALYSIS
If the new diesel tractor as a new sales price of approximately $50,000, and the converted tractor to all-electric has a price of approximately the same price, in 20 years what will be the total cost to include repairs, regular maintenance, cost of fuel and electricity, and the actual value and purchase price of the tractor.
After a detailed analysis it was concluded that the diesel tractor maintained the same efficiency throughout its operational life, the diesel tractor will have a total impact cost value of over $650,000.
